Keep your eye on the Mosaic Project.  It’s early early in development but looks really cool.  Although it is in its infancy and a little quirky, it is stable and won’t have any ill-effect on your computer.  I gave this a quick run through and it looks promising.  http://mosaicproject.codeplex.com/ Tweet
